Concert of Novo mesto Symphonic Orchestra

The main event in Novo mesto on the cultural holiday will be marked this year by two anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of the Novomeška pomlad and the 30th anniversary of the Novo mesto Symphonic Orchestra.

TheNovo mesto Symphonic Orchestra made its first public appearance on 7th of February 1990 at the Novo mesto Cultural Center, and since then the concert has been an indispensable part of cultural events in Novo mesto.This year’s program selection will feature works by local and foreign composers from the whole world.Former students of the Novo mesto School of Music Zala Vidic and soprano Ana Berus and mezzo-soprano Irena Yebuah Tiran will join the orchestra as guests.In addition to music, we will listen to the poetry of the protagonists of the Novomeška pomlad in the interpretation of the students of the Novo mesto Gymnasium.
