An authentic brunch will be served at the Verček vineyard cottage, where the so-called Pušelj bar was opened. Get to know the heritage and visit the Land of Hayracks, the world’s first open air hayrack museum.

Take a trip to Otočec, where you can have fun in the adventure park or enjoy the saunas and pools at the Šport Hotel. You can also visit the Vegetable Garden at the same time.

For a traditional lunch or dinner, head to the Vovko Guesthouse, which is part of the Gostilna Slovenije brand. Or visit the Hiša Fink (Gault & Millau).

Become a master at a rural homestead

The program includes an overnight stay at the Homestead Vesel for 4 people with tasting of delicacies and local wine. Guests navigate homework according to the season and get to know the pets. For fun, we cater to role play and prepare traditional seasonal dishes that delight every guest. The charm of being on a homestead is the connection with nature, the relaxation and strengthening of mutual relations.

Take a hike from Otočec Castle to Trška gora

You will climb Trška gora from the Otočec Castle by the river Krka and among the vineyards, get to know the people living by the river from the past and today, learn about the world-renowned musician Lojze Slak, who owned his vineyard right in Trška. On Mount Trška you will be served a rich masonry snack. In addition, there is a tasting of Dolenjska wines.
