Ecological Farm Kukenberger

Organic farm Kukenberger from Gorenje Ponikve near Trebnje, is one of the few in Slovenia that boasts with two certificates: they have ecological certificat for all dairy in addition to a certificate of ‘hay milk’. On a farm, all the animals are grazing the entire season, in winter time they are in airy and comfortable stable, allowing them a lot of comfort.The Brown Swiss breed milk is traditionaly processed into various dairy products: semi-hard cheeses, fresh cheeses, barbecue cheese, several types of cottage cheese, yogurt, cream and butter. The organic farm Kukenberger combines experiences and ideas of four generations living thereon.
