Gutenwerth

An unusual thatched roof in the middle of a flat field along the road that leads from Dobrava to Šentjernej arouses curiosity because of its shape. The roof covers the foundations of the medieval church, around which the story of the former grandeur of the medieval square along the Krka is woven. Between the 13th and 15th centuries, Gutenwerth Square was one of the administrative centers of the Dolenjska Freising estate.
