Herbal Center of Southeast Slovenia

The area of the Herbal Center of Southeast Slovenia is located in the Municipality of Škocjan, on the edge of the village of Zagrad, a clustered village in the heart of the Krško Hills. The entire area of the herbal center covers approximately 7.5 hectares (mostly forest, meadows, stream, paths). 

The site features the Herbalium energy trail, thematic educational trails with signage for vegetation, and larger boards marking natural values. There are outdoor classrooms, wooden footbridges over the Goriški stream, and 15 wooden herb beds.
