It is managed by the Beekeeping Society Straža – Dolenjske Toplice. The lodge houses a beekeeping museum with a model of the former village of Podstenice, and a beehive stands in the nearby orchard.  

DORMOUSE HOME IN POGORELEC

It is managed by the Dormouse Society POLH in Dolenjska. The lodge is a center of vibrant community activities. Inside, there is an information room about dormice, featuring various species and a collection of old traps. Nearby, you will find the Dormouse Trail.

The lodge is located on the site of the former Rog sawmill. It operates under the Association of Slovenian Catholic Guides and Scouts. In the basement, there is a model of the Rog Sawmill, and nearby you will find the Skavtek Forest Learning Trail.
