Inn Koren

With a stunning view of Žužemberk Castle and just a few hundred meters below the Žužemberk waterfalls, where the Krka River peacefully spreads across green meadows, lies the Koren Guesthouse. Their cuisine is based on traditional Slovenian homemade dishes and they proudly hold the Vikend Golden Spoon award for excellence in offering and preparing local food. Their house specialties include: homemade mushroom soup served in a bread bowl, traditional dumplings (žlikrofi), cottage cheese štruklji, baked or smoked trout, a rustic farmer’s feast, game pâté, and many other specialties.

Guests are also offered the possibility of renting boats, fishing, staying in rooms, camping, and organizing team-building activities.
