Klevevška Spa in Šmarješke Toplice

At the final part of the gorge, on the right bank of the Radulja, there is a smaller tributary whose spring emerges from under a large rock and is collected in a small pool. This is a hypothermal spring called Klevevška Toplica, with a temperature ranging from 21 to 25°C, and it was formed during the same geological fault as the spring in Šmarješke Toplice.

Klevevž is one of the most significant intersections of natural and cultural heritage in the Dolenjska region. The natural features are marked by the gorge of the Radulja stream, natural thermal springs, and the Klevevž cave system, with the only cave spa in Slovenia. Above the gorge are the ruins of Klevevž Castle from the 13th century, several preserved outbuildings, and parts of the former castle garden with individual ornamental trees.
