Family-run estate with exquisite seasonal food and a rich wine cellar where   you’ll feel right at home. An excellent starting point for excursions throughout Slovenia (Ljubljana 30 min, Piran 1 hr 30 min), walks in the nearby area, cycling, visits to spas (Dolenjske Toplice 10 min), fishing in the Krka River, or simply lounging in  the garden under the shade of an old apple tree. They speak fluent English, German, Italian, and Croatian. They will gladly take you mushroom picking, teach you how to catch trout, or arrange a cooking class just for you. Additionally, they can organize a trip to the Kočevski forest, home to the brown bear.
