Ski center Gače

The ski center Gače lies in pristine nature near Novo mesto and Semič, and it extends in the areas of Dolenjska, Bela krajina and Suha Krajina. It lies below the Pogorelec peak at a height of 965 meters. It is the only bigger ski resort in this region, and is the popular sightseeing and excursion point of locals.

Gače Ski Resort is also exciting in the summer. They invite you to take a walk in the Kočevski Rog area, explore the new and diverse cycling trails with electric bike rentals, and enjoy the excellent new culinary offerings at Koča and Bar Gače.They also offer electric bike rentals, including bikes for adults and special electric bikes for children. They have prepared six new cycling routes that take you through the paths of Kočevski Rog, passing by Debeli Jelka, Ledena Jama, Ponikev, Resa, Pogorelc, and other attractions.They have also prepared new hiking trails starting from Gače Ski Resort. 

In collaboration with Semič Mountaineering Society, the Municipality of Semič, and the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia, they have created a mountaineering map with all the paths in the nearby and wider area. 

New in 2023! Gače Adventure Park is a refreshing treat for nature lovers. It is a safe and well-maintained playground where you can socialize in nature, make new friends, and enjoy forest excursions. Instructors and animators are ready to welcome you with top-quality equipment from Black Diamond, Salewa, and Petzl to ensure your safety.For groups, they can organize various activities, entertainment, and catering. Each event can be arranged individually.
